POSITIVE END RESULT OF EUROPEAN FUR AUCTIONS' SELLING SEASONS
Saga Furs and Kopenhagen Fur's September Auctions closed the 2013-2014 selling season with a positive outcome.
With a well-attended representation of more than 450 buyers, a varying selling year on the mink skins prices concluded with a striking increase in both auctions, between 15% and 35% depending on the skin type.
The growing participation of buyers from China/Hong Kong, Turkey and other markets and a strong dollar contributed to a price increase of mink skins compared with the June Auction.
The 2014-2015 selling season will start in December this year in Finland and in January 2015 in Denmark. With a promising outlook ahead, the Auctions' selling will offer a range of high quality collections of mink, fox, Finn raccoon and karakul skins.
